Adam Birt is excited to be teaching 5th and 6th grade math this year. This is his 7th year of teaching at Morgan Middle School. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors degree in history.

Adam spent twenty years working in the retail grocery industry before beginning his teaching career. He tells everyone who asks, it was the second-best decision he ever made, behind asking his wife to marry him. He loves watching students learn new things and accomplish their goals.

Adam loves to read anything about history, especially United States history. His children affectionately call his collection of books his "nerd books". On family vacations you will always find him at the end of the group reading signs about the places he is visiting and looking for a good book to buy. Adam loves sports! His favorite teams are the Utah Jazz, BYU Cougars, and the Boston Red Sox. His dream would be to attend a Red Sox game at Fenway Park sitting in the seats on top of the famed "Green Monster".

Adam was born and raised in Morgan. His wife Sherry also teaches at Morgan Middle School. They have four daughters, a son, and recently added a son-in-law to their family.
