Kandi Christiansen is the 7th & 8th grade school counselor but will help all students. She went to Ricks College for two years and received her Associates degree. She graduated from Weber State with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She worked as a prevention specialist for youth substance abuse for 11 years at Weber Human Services where she was able to work in schools with students. She decided she wanted to be in the schools permanently. She went to the University of Phoenix and received her master’s degree in Master of Science in Counseling, School Counseling.
She started at UMA as a school counselor for two years and then moved to MMS and has been a school counselor for six years and love it.
She has been married to Kovi Christiansen for 27 years and together they have 3 children. Kyler is 25, Karson is 21, and Kia is 17 and a senior at MHS. She loves playing and watching sports, love working out, being outside in the sunshine and loves to travel.
