Kovi Christiansen has worked for Morgan School District for the past 23 years and has loved it here. All but one year has been spent at Morgan Middle School in the sixth grade. He taught one year of third grade at Morgan Elementary.

Kovi grew up in Wyoming and has attended multiple universities to continue his learning. He has been married for 27 years to his wife and school councilor, Kandi Christiansen. Together, they have three children: Kyler, 25 (Salt Lake City), Karson, 21 got home this summer from a mission and will attend BYU in the fall, and Kia, 17 will be a senior this year.

Kovi was a coach at Morgan High School for 21 years and has been a part of 6 state championships as a head coach or an assistant coach. Currently, he mows at the golf course in the summers and loves to golf and travel with his family. One of his favorite things is when former students and players come up to him and talk about the memories of the relationships that were built together.
